One of those spur-of-the-moment images, where the cabs had all banked up because of a red light, and I happened to be wandering past at the time. For me, this image is
similar in conception to Buckingham Palace, inasmuch as it uses a detail to invoke my experience of the whole. Even if I photoshopped out the
"NYC" on the cab doors, there's just nowhere else in the world this could be, is there ?
