We arrived at Lake Louise early in the day, and there were big fluffy flakes of snow floating down as we got out of the car. Given we were visiting in low season
as well, there was less than a handful of people at the lake when we visited. It was a wonderful, peaceful morning. Fortunately, the ice was breaking up at the
outlet of the lake, which provided me with an interesting foreground for this composition.
