The calves were a little more skittish than the rest of the flock, but I managed to capture this one, hiding behind mum, staying close to the tree line. This image
(and the other bighorn sheep images) shows the benefit of eye-priority AF tracking. I didn't nail the focus exactly on every image (I'm not a pro wildlife
photographer, after all) but my hit rate was much higher than it would have otherwise been.
