Looking from Gornergrat toward the Gornergletscher (or Gorner Glacier, the second longest in the Alps). The Gornergrat is a ridge of the alps, at the tip of
which is the Kulmhotel Gornergrat. There is a rack railway from Zermatt which
provides access for skiers and the hotel. Surrounded by glaciers and offering views of over 20 four thousand metre plus peaks, it is a remarkable spot.
