Riffelberg of one of the stops on the Gornergratbahn and is at an altitude of around 2,600 metres. After I had spent the morning clambering through the
snow for photos a few stops down the line, I met my wife for a hot chocolate (or two ... or three) on the terrace of the Hotel Riffelberg. The sun was shining, it
was a beautiful day and we just sat back and soaked in the majestic scenery. Having said that, I couldn't completely resist the urge to grab the camera to experiment
with the patterns of sun, shadow and ski tracks.
