The Melchior Islands are located between Anvers Island and Brabant Island in Dallmann Bay, and were named for a Vice Admiral in the French Navy by Charcot in his 1905/05 expedition. They were also the site of our last (unscheduled) landing before heading back out into the Drake Passage, and I think one of the most lovely ice caves / ice arches we saw.

Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F5 and an AF 80-200mm f2.8 lens at 150mm.
